In Class Mon. 1/8

Today we worked on pg. 154, #1, and prepared for the assessment on Wednesday 1/10 over using written descriptions of patterns, equations (rules), tables, and graphs to answer questions, examine data, and make predictions.

The equation types we will examine on the assessment will be LINEAR, QUADRATIC, INVERSE, and EXPONENTIAL. Be familiar with the shapes of the each type of graph and each graph's features. Be able to describe the shape of the graph or the pattern of change in the table of values using appropriate vocabulary. Be able to make a NEXT = NOW equation as well as a Y = equation.
