Homework Mon. 2/26

Today we investigated the properties of rates of change (slope) and y-intercepts for two variables using graphs and tables. In-class we began by matching the graph to each table on pg. 190, #1. Then, on pg.199, investigation 3, we created the graph of profits compared to ticket sales as in the textbook, then looked at what the out-of-window points told us about the business. On pg. 200, #2, we split up the cases to compare the similarities and differences of 4 different equations for each case, compared to the others. Finally for homework, on pg. 201, choose either list A or list B to graph on an x-y axis and check with a graphing calculator.
