Classwork Thurs 9/6
Today after randomizing groups, we distributed the Integrated Math I Syllabus, parents letter, and Unit 1 lesson plan. Be sure to return your completed syllabus acknowledgment form next class.
We introduced the TI-84 graphing calculator by beginning graphing calculator skills with a handout on basic operations. We practiced collecting data by simulating the spread of infection of a virus, using the "Outbreak!" handout, recorded the data of the number infected, and plotted the data on a scatter plot.
White 4 should answer the questions, #1 and 4, "How would you describe the spread of the virus from start to end using the scatter plot we made?" and "Why does the graph level off at the end?".
