Homework Thurs 1/10
Today we continued on the work from pg. 144-146, Experiments #1, 2, 3, and 4. After graphing each type of equation, we described each type using sentences similar to: "As the x values increase, the y values (increase, decrease) at a (increasing, constant, decreasing) rate." For non-linear graphs, describe minimums, maximums, or limits. Group several types of equations/graphs together in order to avoid repeating the description. Be able to describe the patterns you see in the families of functions: linear, quadratic, inverse, and exponential. How do changes to the equations modify the features of graphs in a family?
