Homework Fri 2/29

Today we completed working on the assessment project. Be sure to analyze the results by discussing the correlation, use your linear regression equation to make predictions based on the national goal, and discuss the y-intercept and slope in the context of this study. Be ready to pass in a final copy of your report at the beginning of class Tuesday March 4.

Homework Tues 2/26

Today we worked on the project Coronary Heart Disease mortality vs Cigarette consumption. Last class, we created the introduction and did a linear regression for the data, while finding the correlation. In class today, we collected, organized, and reported summary statistics. We started creating graphical display(s) of the data using a spreadsheet for a xy scatterplot. For next class have the finalized introduction and begin writing the report. The project is due by the end of the day Friday.
