In Class Tues 5/26
Today we created exponential models of growth and decay by doing the experiments with popcorn kernels on pg. 461-463 experiments 1 and 2. Use the handout to fill in your results. We also used exponential regression to create the models and used the model to predict growth or decay values for given steps.

Homework Tues 5/5
Today we looked at simple exponential growth models of the form y=a(2^x) and y = a(3^x) through tables, graphs, and symbolic rules. We also compared the exponential growth models to linear models.
Be able to depict an exponential growth problem by describing the pattern of growth using Next=Now and in y = format.
In class we worked on pg. 425, #1, 2, and 5.
For exponential growth practice, homework is on pg. 426, #7 and pg 428-429, #5.
