Today we worked on Exponential Growth and Decay problems by examining how rumors can rapidly multiply the amount of people who know it and did an activity with trials pouring corn kernels into a marked, quartered pie plate, and recording a decay model then a growth model. We then created a model equation to fit the data.

Today we worked on applying the Quadratic Formula to solving quadratic functions.  Remember to use the discriminant to determine whether there are 2, 1, or 0 solutions.  The discriminant is positive for two solutions, equal to 0 for 1 solution, and negative for no solutions for answers in the real number system.  Use the provided problems to do #9 and 21 and 22 for homework.
