Today we began Unit 5 on Geometry and Measurement with the rubric, formula sheet, and vocabulary sheet. After some review of some basic geometry concepts, we worked on finding the measurements of angles using a handout package. For homework do the problems on pg. 49 and 50.

Today we began work on solving Systems of Linear Equations problems using the Graphing Method. For homework, using the handout C-51 and C-52, graph each equation and find the solution. There are three possible answers, either identify a single (x,y) point that both equations have in common (where the graphed lines cross), or a set of parallel lines showing that there is No Solution, or two lines in the exact same location showing an Infinite Number of Solutions are possible.
