Homework Tues 3/31

Today we practiced on solving geometry perimeter, area, and circumference problems using you formula sheet and a packet of questions. On page 1, skip #6, and on page 2 and page 3 both, #3 is extra credit.

Homework Mon 3/30

Today we started using isometric projections on pg. 341-342, #1 and 2. These will continue on Wednesday in class in order to create objects using cubes, as well as completing pg. 333, #8. Isometric and square dot paper are required to draw your three dimensional and two dimensional projections.

which allows you to do depictions of 3-dimensional objects.

Homework Wed 3/25

Today we began Unit 5 Patterns in Space by classifying and constructing models of space-shapes. We worked on pg. 333, #8, which we will complete in class on Tuesday.

prism - two polygon bases (top and bottom) with rectangular sides

Today we examined Discrete Math problems, looking for optimal (best) solutions. For homework do the packet provided. Euler Paths traced each edge of the Vertex-Edge Graph exactly once, completing the shape. The Euler Circuits were Euler Paths that could be drawn, including beginning and ending at the same point. We also worked on mapping problems using four colors or less.
